I love this place. Decade is my favorite coffee shop in Lawrence. I have lived in the area for three years and I have always enjoyed coming here to study or hang out with friends. The owner and the baristas are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food, drinks, and ambience can’t be beat!!

Major Kaboom
So the parking lot is the entrance to a printing press facility with big trucks in and out. The building and surroundings look like a dump. The building looks like it's about to fall down. And the outside area is surrounded by well trash and a half demoed building in the back. The prices suggest something more than it could ever be. Not worth the time.

Nice friendly environment, my favorite item on the menu has to be the cold brew tonic on a hot summer day, would put decade on my top 3 coffee shops in town.

I never write reviews, but I just experienced the absolute best service in a coffee shop that I probably ever have. My sister and I were looking for a place to set up camp to study for a few hours, so we found this place and decided to give it a try. Our barista was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, very helpful in giving us hints and suggestions about what to get, very patient as we continued to look over the menu and ask questions, and quick/efficient at preparing the drinks. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, and I was a big fan of the outdoor seating option, even though we ended up sitting inside. This coffee shop is nicely located, off the beaten path but not too far from the main stretch. You'll probably have to find street parking, though, potentially right next to a stone wall across the street. The large lot next to the building is reserved for another company. Oh well. Overall, excellent experience!
